Juniper Networks wins the number 1 spot. This network equipment manufacturer reportedly offers its software engineers an average annual base salary of $159,990. According to the website, the average salary+bonus+other is $179,255, and interestingly this page was updated Dec 4, 2013 (hmmm).

 

Software Engineers at LinkedIn places number two on the salary scale at an average of $154,146 in salary+bonus+other according to the self-reporting recorded on the site as of the date of this writing.

 

Yahoo! shows at third with an average salary+bonus+other at $109,839.

 

The 25 Highest Paying Companies For Software Engineers (2013) Glassdoor Report notes Google in fourth, Twitter in fifth, and Apple in sixth.

Public cloud: $102,625.

Visual Studio: $98,292,
SQL Server: $95,214,
Hyper-V: $91,853,
Windows PowerShell: $91,070,
Lync: $90,319.
