Customer Success Engineer – Gamification
Bunchball’s VP of Client Services tapped Redfish Technology when the team recently decided to hire a Customer Success Engineer. As the industry leader in gamification, Bunchball works with some of the largest consumer and B2B companies in the world. The company’s gamification platform and powerful analytics solutions allow for the creation of customized, actionable and scalable user experiences for consumers, employees and partners. The Customer Success Engineer needed to be an inspired individual who could take the customers’ broad, theoretical ideas about how to incorporate gamification into their site or application and turn them into actionable plans. This customer-facing role demanded someone who was both an agile tactician and a strategic thinker, with deep experience in SaaS and Internet/New Media areas.
Jon Piggins, Tech Recruiter at Redfish, analyzed the company’s requirements and corporate culture and embarked on a search strategy. Jon targeted professionals with a highly technical mind paired with excellent communication skills who had a track record of working well with customers to get to the core needs and solve issues. Arun Wright was recruited because he is exceptionally sharp and well-spoken and has an 8-year track record of making enterprise, web, and mobile software solutions as simple as possible for customers. He has worked in positions of growing responsibility in pre- and post-sales engineering and client services management since graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. He was recently awarded an MBA with a concentration in Managing Innovation and Technology from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business which he obtained while working in the mobile and SaaS sectors. Arun is passionate about the integration of mobile technology, and solving the usability issues that arise from their combination for the success of the customer.
