We provide digital banking services allowing housing providers to run loyalty and rewards programs and more closely integrate their residential communities with local businesses. Their vision is a more equitable housing model for 100mm+ renters, landlords, and neighborhood

About the role
Join our growing team as our first design hire and own the end-to-end design process for the company. You’ll report directly to the Chou, and help shape the future of rental housing.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
• Execute at every stage of the design lifecycle
• Lead user research across housing providers, renters, and merchants
• Work directly with founding team to define strategy, success metrics, and roadmap
• Collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering and Senior Product Manager to drive product delivery
• Work with marketing and ops to define resident experience across all touch points (offline to online)
• Help define and grow the design function  – how it interacts with other teams, how we recruit
and develop designers, how the function scales
• Support sales and marketing on collateral design as necessary
Requirements
• A passion for building an equitable and human-centered rental experience for housing providers,
residents, and local businesses
• 5+ years in UI/UX or product design
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools
• Ability to design, prototype, and validate multiple ideas quickly
• Experience across all stages of product design lifecycle: product strategy, research, wireframes,
prototypes, UI, documentation, user testing
• Experience working cross-functionally, especially with engineering and product
• Experience designing across platforms (web, mobile, desktop)
• Commitment to building diverse and inclusive product and design teams

Nice to have
• Early stage startup experience
• Experience with both b2b and b2c products
• Experience building and maintaining a scalable design system
• Located in NYC (remote possible option)
