Our team is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with substantial experience using AI to predict future needs and strategize business initiatives. This role will use neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to drive innovation and improve various business outcomes. The AI Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for shaping our AI strategy and showcasing the potential for AI through early-stage solutions. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct processes and R&D related to AI strategy
  • Model, build, and test AI software to ensure it can take on large swaths of data and achieve desired results
  • Work on functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures
  • Analyze and explain AI solutions while setting and maintaining high ethical standards
  • Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each exploration and incubation 
  • Analyze statistics, data, and algorithms for projection accuracy
  • Work with a team of data engineers to ensure seamless AI development and integration
  • Manage a team in conducting assessments of the AI and automation market and competitor landscape
  • Advise executives and business leaders on strategy, policy issues, and technology associated with AI
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams
  • Deliver feedback and enable team members to make changes in product performance or presentation
  • Stay current on AI knowledge, trends, and regulations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions
  • Experience as an AI engineer or in a similar role
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, and NLP
  • Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement
  • Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations
  • Proficiency in computer programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C++
  • Knowledge of data science, linear algebra, and statistics
  • Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best practice patterns
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with innovation accelerators
  • Experience with cloud environments
