Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 base + milestone-based equity
Our client is building an AI-native CRM platform designed specifically for insurance agencies.
Insurance remains one of the most traditional and under-innovated industries in the U.S. Their mission is to modernize the insurance agency model using artificial intelligence at the core — not as a feature, but as the foundation of the system.
They are developing this product inside a live insurance agency environment, allowing us to build, test, and iterate in real time with agents and customers. Once validated, the platform will scale to additional agencies.

We are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to architect and build the foundation of an AI-native CRM platform from the ground up.
You will be the primary engineer responsible for:
Designing and building the system architecture
Developing backend infrastructure and application logic
Integrating AI capabilities deeply into the product
Rapid prototyping and iteration using AI-assisted development tools
Working directly with insurance agents to gather feedback and refine workflows
Establishing engineering standards and processes
As the product scales, you will have the opportunity to hire and lead additional engineers.
Equity is milestone-based and increases as the platform achieves defined product and growth targets.
An AI-native CRM purpose-built for insurance agencies
Workflow automation and intelligent client management

Real-time iteration inside an operating agency “sandbox”

Strong software engineering fundamentals (backend-heavy preferred)
Experience building production systems from scratch

This role is based in Naples, Florida.
In-office presence is required at least 3 days per week to collaborate directly with the operating insurance agency team.
Limited remote flexibility is possible, but proximity to the agency is critical to success.
Miami (2 hours away) is rapidly emerging as a growing tech ecosystem.
This is not a maintenance role.
