Role overview:

We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer who can drive the development of our early product. As an early member of the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the product, developer experience, and team culture as we grow and scale. You’ll take end-to-end ownership over the systems that you build and work collaboratively with our cross-functional team. Your work will have a material impact on the trajectory of the company.

Where you’ll make an impact:

• Own and ship critical features across the core B2B product, integrations/external API, and platform.

• Ensure that backend systems and services operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues.

• Help shape our engineering culture and process as we scale

Requirements:

• Strong track record of shipping high-quality systems with high complexity and scale.

• Experience building high quality, delightful user-facing applications.

• Experience working

• closely with a cross-functional product team.

• Bias towards action and ownership – when you see a problem, you fix it.

• Customer-centric — you are focused on creating the best customer experience possible.

  You’ll stand out if you have:

• Fintech industry knowledge and experience.

• Experience building with leading fintech APIs (Plaid, Stripe, etc).

• Experience building APIs-as-a-product and/or B2B products.

• Experience at seed/early-stage startups (eg, being a first-3 engineer at a company).

• Previously started a company and/or launched personal projects.
