Role overview:
We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer who can drive the development of our early product. As an early member of the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the product, developer experience, and team culture as we grow and scale. You’ll take end-to-end ownership over the systems that you build and work collaboratively with our cross-functional team. Your work will have a material impact on the trajectory of the company.
Where you’ll make an impact:
Own and ship critical features across the core B2B product, integrations/external API, and platform.
Ensure that backend systems and services operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues.
Help shape our engineering culture and process as we scale
Requirements:
Strong track record of shipping high-quality systems with high complexity and scale.
Experience building high quality, delightful user-facing applications.
Experience working
closely with a cross-functional product team.
Bias towards action and ownership – when you see a problem, you fix it.
Customer-centric — you are focused on creating the best customer experience possible.
You’ll stand out if you have:
Fintech industry knowledge and experience.
Experience building with leading fintech APIs (Plaid, Stripe, etc).
Experience building APIs-as-a-product and/or B2B products.
Experience at seed/early-stage startups (eg, being a first-3 engineer at a company).
Previously started a company and/or launched personal projects.
