THE POSITION
We are seeking a senior-level Systems Administrator with a strong Windows and Microsoft
cloud background who will serve as a hands-on technical leader and day-to-day owner of
IT operations. This role is critical to ensuring stability, reliability, and continuous
improvement across our corporate office environments.
This individual will act as the operational bridge between the Head of IT and onsite
execution. The role requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to lead,
document, and create structure in a growing, high-touch environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
? IT Operations & Engineering
? Own day-to-day administration of Windows-based infrastructure, including Active
Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, WSUS, Hyper-V, and
Terminal Services
? Manage Microsoft cloud services including M365 and Azure (Entra ID, Storage,
Enterprise Applications, Azure Networking, Virtual Machines)
? Support Windows 10/11 endpoints and Office productivity tools
? Administer endpoint management and device security solutions
? Troubleshoot complex systems issues across on-prem and cloud environments
? Support hybrid Active Directory and multi-site/multi-domain
? Establish best practices for troubleshooting, ticket handling, and escalation
? Provide ongoing training and feedback to build junior team capability
? Create and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
? Provide phone, email, chat, and remote assistance support as needed
? Ensure a high-touch, professional end-user experience
? Coordinate with the Head of IT on principal and residential technology needs as
appropriate
? Apply strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills to prevent recurring
issues
? Support enterprise WiFi systems (e.g., Aruba)
? Apply network and security fundamentals in daily operations
? Participate in on-call escalation rotation as required
? Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
? Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, financial services
controls)

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and server components, including
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, WSUS, Hyper-V, Terminal
Services
? Strong proficiency in Microsoft cloud offerings, including M365 and Azure,
specifically Entra ID, Storage, Enterprise Applications, Azure Networking, Virtual
Machines
? Strong proficiency in Microsoft desktop products, including Windows 10/11 & Office
products
? Proficiency with administration of Linux machines, with experience in Debian and
Fedora
? Strong troubleshooting skills
? Experience managing multi-domain forest with multiple sites, and hybrid AD
environments
? Experience with Google Workspace
? Experience with endpoint management products
? Experience with AWS/Google Cloud
? Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages
? Experience with enterprise WiFi systems (e.g. Aruba)
? Knowledge of network and security fundamentals

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or
equivalent combination of certifications and progressive infrastructure experience.

COMPENSATION
The Company offers a competitive total compensation package, including base salary,
discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Salary range: $175,000-225,000,
commensurate with experience.
